After a one year hiatus, the Cerritos Republican Club held its annual Holiday dinner meeting in the Skyline Room of the Cerritos Library on December 14. Candy and Jim Yee took the following pictures at this event.

When you first enter the Skyline Room, you see the abundant gifts donated by the members and guests for the 1st Combat Engineer Battalion (CEB) Marines to take for their families and Christmas party at Camp Pendleton.

Jin Han played background music on the grand piano as guests engaged in conversations.

President Mark Dameron welcomed everyone to the event.

Cerritos Mayor Pro Tem Chuong Vo was the Master of Ceremonies.

Pastor Tom Burns did the invocation.

Marine Michael Montoney led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Marine Dhan Carlos Dogol Dogol came with Michael.

The stage was set up for entertainment by the Darden Sisters (and Brothers).

The Darden Sisters and Brothers started playing music.

The Darden Family was very entertaining.

Deployment Readiness Officer Pherby Higgins was called to the podium.

She asked the Marines to come to the front to introduce themselves.

[55] Pablo ? was the first to introduce himself.

Michael Montoney followed Shane.

Dhan Carlos Dogol Dogol was next.

Isaac Partoza finished with his introduction.

All five Marines were applauded vigorously by the audience.

Chuong Vo presented the entire proceeds of the Opportunity Drawing to Janet Beach, President of the Friends of the 1st CEB.

Chuong Vo called for someone named "Kelsey" to draw the tickets.

Kelsey drew the first ticket for the winner of a 1st CEB medallion.

Kelsey verified that Connie Edwards was a winner.

Jay Hosoda won the last medallion.

The toys donated by Club members and guests were received by the Marines and their families for taking to the annual Christmas party at Camp Pendleton.
